R.H. Foster is proud to announce R.H. Foster Energy is pleased to announce that our wholesale partner in Cape Elizabeth, Gregg Jones, recently opened the doors to Jonesy’s Inc. dba Jonesy’s On The Run on July 28, 2008.
With the increase in gasoline prices and competition in the service station industry, the Jonesy’s family experienced challenges with maintaining a successful entrepreneurship. Gregg Jones, who had assumed the responsibilities of the business, turned to R.H. Foster Energy, his fuel supplier, for guidance.
R.H. Foster Energy, ExxonMobil, and Gregg Jones together created a supportive network that paved the way for the store’s recent successful opening. Jonesy’s On The Run is a 3400-square foot convenience store with eight fueling stations and includes a full Freshies® program.

Jonesy’s originally began as a 3-bay service station and garage in 1948 and has been part of the Mobil family from day one. Providing quality service has always been a top priority for the Jonesy’s family. Jonesy’s Garage provided gasoline and vehicle repair and maintenance services to the Portland and Cape Elizabeth area for 60 years.
The R.H. Foster team met with Gregg to discuss the idea of converting his existing service station to an On The Run convenience store with a Freshies® food offering program. Gregg decided to pursue the venture knowing that to ensure Jonesy’s future success, substantial business changes were necessary.
Gregg had the following comments regarding his involvement: “The R.H. Foster team has been a partner from the start. I certainly could not and would not have done it without them. This has been every bit of the exciting challenge I expected it to be, but I received a lot of wonderful help from R.H. Foster. Freshies® is doing very well and it will be an anchor to our business. Customers are excited and wowed by the On The Run program. I am very pleased with the outcome; everything was really well done.”
